A number of countries in Africa, among which Sierra Leone and Liberia require a waiver document for all import shipments. For example, a CTN or Cargo Tracking Note is required for all shipments going to Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. This way the authorities in these countries have access to all information in the “pre-arrival phase”.
